My name is Angelica Villarruel Augusto and I am the owner of Meztli Massage + Wellness. It has been an honor + pleasure providing massage since 2015. I never in a million years would have guessed that I would be supporting people through massage therapy - my dream as a little girl was to become a pediatrician. Looks like life had other plans in store!
It was through my own healing journey navigating Cervical Cancer in 2014 that ultimately led me to massage. A blessing in disguise I will always be grateful for. When I felt the calling to pivot into this work - I decided to follow the call and the rest has been history.
Meztli Massage + Wellness was founded in 2016. From its inception the foundation of Meztli Massage + Wellness lies in being of service to people through massage therapy. It wasn’t until 2018 that the vision became clearer and I knew that I wanted to support women in their journey through pregnancy + postpartum (Thanks to Carole Osborne’s Perinatal + Postpartum Massage Certification Training!). It is my highest priority that clients feel affirmed, uplifted, recognized and acknowledged when they come to me for support.
Pregnancy and Postpartum are two very pivotal times in a woman’s life. Understanding this, it’s important in making sure that clients know they have a space that feels safe for them as they navigate through everything that pregnancy + postpartum can bring.
Over the last 8 years - Meztli Massage + Wellness has grown + been of service to several hundred women + families all throughout Los Angeles + the Greater Los Angeles area. Earlier this year (June 2024), Meztli Massage + Wellness expanded out to Dallas, Texas. I look forward to seeing how Meztli Massage + Wellness continues to grow and all the women I will have the opportunity to serve here through Prenatal + Postpartum Massage, Postpartum Care Support + Postpartum Planning Guidance.
